From our founding in 1984, we’ve built a strong foundation in cargo securing across Europe through proven expertise and sustainable solutions. Each milestone in our journey has reinforced our commitment to safer transport. Here are the key moments that shaped who we are today.
1984
Forankra AB is founded with the vision of providing safer and more efficient cargo securing solutions.
2002
AxInter acquires Forankra AB, RoRo, Haklift, Forankra Baltic, Forankra Lit, and Forankra Pol, forming the new business area AxLoad.
2007
AxLoad acquires ACK Forankra, France Arrimage, GPI, Ancra Spain and Safe Load, expanding our European presence.
2010
Forankra division was formed and AxLoad split into three divisions; Forankra, Certex and Haklift
2016
Haklift Bulgaria established in Plovdiv in 2016. In 2017, Forankra Group was established under the new business group Transport Solutions, and Forankra UK was acquired.
2025
Today, we are the leading European supplier of products, solutions and services for cargo securing, cargo optimization and whole sale lifting.
